Public holidays in Estonia

Estonia has twelve public holidays. Several — Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Whit Sunday — move with Easter each year, while Midsummer (Jaanipäev) on 24 June is the summer high point.

On public holidays most offices, banks and larger shops close or open only briefly; grocery hours are often shortened, especially at Midsummer and Christmas.
